Levi J. Holt is a Nez Perce Tribal Member near Winchester, Idaho having lived on the Reservation since birth. This painting depicts him playing a flute at the Nez Perce Tribal ceremony at Yellowstone Nat. Park. An image of a wolf has been painted on the front of his buckskin shirt. The white fur is ermine.
